The Cowboys don’t open the preseason until Saturday night, but tonight arrives what most of you have been squirming for. At 9 on HBO: Hard Knocks.
I was at camp in Oxnard last week and, trust me, there’s a camera everywhere everyone turns. Expect owner Jerry Jones to be a star. Same with Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, yadda, yadda and yadda. There will, of course, be a rookie darling the network shoves down our throat. My guess: This guy.
And, oh yeah, betcha a nickel the new digs in Arlington gets mentioned a time or two.
If football season makes you want to get off the couch and boogie, the official Hard Knocks premiere party starts at 6 p.m. at the Gaylord Texan’s Glass Cactus. Daryl Johnston, Jay Novacek, Drew Pearson and Randy White will be on hand, The Ticket’s Hardline will be broadcasting live and — after the show — dancing!
