Rosemont, restauranteur Tracy Miller’s ode to casual but elegant breakfast and lunch, appears to have closed. A source tells City of Ate that the staff was informed yesterday that the restaurant would cease operations immediately.
Miller couldn’t be reached for comment this morning, but the restaurant is locked, unlit and filled with tables that obviously don’t belong in the dining space.
Rosemont received mixed reviews during its eight-month tenure. The food was inconsistent, sometimes elating and sometimes disappointing, and the service was often lethargic.
The dinning room was a real looker, though, as was that fish sandwich. I’ll miss them both. Local, Miller’s original restaurant located on the same block, remains open.
