Houses Catch Fire in Tenth Street, Dallas’ Historic Freedman’s Town

Over the last couple of months, several houses have caught fire in Dallas’ Tenth Street Historic District. The causes are still undetermined. The Tenth Street neighborhood is considered one of the last remaining intact Freedman’s Towns in the country, complete with its own cemetery where residents who were once slaves are buried.
