The Boston Celtics have the lead.

But the Los Angeles Lakers have the advantage.

Right?

Boston needs just win one – tonight in Game 6 or in a Game 7 Thursday night – to clinch its record 18th NBA Championship. They won’t get it.

As I said before the series, Lakers in 7.

How’s that you ask?

Because Kobe Bryant is good enough to win one game by himself. And, at some point, Andrew Bynum (knee willing) is going to outplay Kendrick Perkins, Ron Artest is going to make a positive play, the Staples Center crowd will remove its sunglasses and actually cheer and, oh yeah, Kobe.

My crystal basketball says the Lakers win in a relative rout tonight, setting up some must-see TV Thursday night.
