Thai-Rrific closed its longstanding North Dallas location and opened its doors on Cedar Springs last month, where Hung Dinger used to live.

The first thing I noticed walking into the restaurant was a refrigerated case full of multicolored cakes. The green tea and “rainbow” cake caught my eye before I was seated in the main dining area. The restaurant’s open floor-plan is surprisingly cozy thanks to burgundy walls, dark booths, and theme-appropriate décor (think metallic god statues and bamboo).

Thai-Rrific offers two menus, dinner and lunch, but they are currently working on a late-night menu that will offer food until 4 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. While the dinner menu is more extensive, both menus offer curry dishes, soup and their signature stuffed chicken wings; de-boned wings stuffed with rice, white and green onions, cilantro, and lemon grass.

It is also BYOB — with no corkage fee — until the bar is up and running, which we were were told will be soon. Read on more photos.
